Curator's Note

A Chanel Boutique cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 1988 collection under Karl Lagerfeld. The dress was shown on the runway with the matching polka dot jacket, styled with a veiled hat. It has a black lace bodice, pink polka dot silk cummerbund that is buttoned with Chanel gilt buttons at the back and black skirt.
