Vintage Product Disclaimer
Many items sold by Epoque Couture are vintage or pre-owned and may show signs of age, wear, or prior use. These characteristics are considered part of each piece’s unique history and authenticity. We take care to provide accurate descriptions and images of each item’s condition. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and accept the nature of vintage goods as described.
Under Irish consumer law, second-hand goods must still be as described and of the quality a reasonable person would expect given they are second-hand. Our honest condition descriptions and detailed photographs reflect this obligation.
Measurements Disclaimer
All measurements are provided as a guide only and are approximate. Variations may occur due to fabric structure, cut, or method of measurement. Epoque Couture does not guarantee fit, and customers are responsible for reviewing all sizing information prior to purchase.
Authenticity Guarantee
All items offered for sale are authenticated through established professional channels prior to acquisition and are subject to further in-house verification before being listed. Our authentication process includes, but is not limited to, the examination of labels, serial and style codes, materials, construction methods, and period-specific manufacturing characteristics.
Epoque Couture guarantees the authenticity of all items sold. In the unlikely event of a confirmed authenticity issue, a full refund will be issued in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy and these Terms.
Brand Affiliation & Trademarks
Epoque Couture Limited is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any brand, designer, or trademark owner. All brand names, product names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.
7. Right of Cancellation & Returns
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), physically receives the goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by a clear written statement sent by email or post to the contact details provided above. You may use the model cancellation form set out below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel your order, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (but not any supplementary costs if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to cancel, using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.
You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the Right of Cancellation
The right of cancellation does not apply to goods that have been made to your specifications or are clearly personalised, or to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons where unsealed after delivery.
Important Notice Regarding Cancellation Rights
If we fail to inform you of your right to cancel, the cancellation period is extended by 12 months from the end of the initial 14-day cancellation period.

8. Billing & Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe an order has been placed in error or involves fraud.
We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, household, or order, including those placed under the same customer account, payment method, or shipping address. In the event we cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided at the time of order.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions made through our store.
9. Order Confirmation
Following your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract between you and Epoque Couture Limited.

We may provide access to third-party tools or integrations over which we have no control. Your use of such tools is at your own risk and subject to the terms of those third parties.

18. Termination
These Terms remain effective unless terminated by either you or us. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by termination.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Exchanges Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Epoque Couture Limited regarding the use of the Service.
20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under EU consumer protection legislation.
