From Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2004 Deliverance collection, this dress is a variation of a design presented on the runway in peach. This example retains the draped bias-cut silhouette and exposed corsetry of the original look, without the cape-style sleeve panels seen on the catwalk version.

Sleeveless cocktail-length dress in black silk, cut on the bias
Cowl neckline revealing an internal boned mesh corset
Sheer black tulle bodysuit foundation with ruched bust cups
Draped silk overlay across the bust and torso
Open back with draped detailing
Fitted through the waist and hips
Flared hem with scalloped seam panels
