A Jean Paul Gaultier maxi dress combining the classic biker jacket construction with jersey fabric. Throughout his career Gaultier returned repeatedly to different subcultures as an inspiration source: punk, fetish, sailor, biker. The Spring/Summer 2001 collection drew directly on the iconography of Hell's Angels, biker chicks and Mad Max, one of the clearest expressions of this recurring thread in his work.
