Dundas looked particularly to the late 1960s and early 1970s, when musicians such as Janis Joplin and Marianne Faithfull adopted richly patterned textiles, embroidery and traditional garments in their wardrobes. The collection included ikat motifs, elaborate geometric patterns and textured wool, with much of the decoration inspired by Central Asian carpets and tapestries. This fuchsia wool and mohair coat features a geometric pattern in pink, black and white, with raised, textured motifs covering the entire surface. The same pattern appeared on a fitted mini dress in the Pre-Fall 2014 lookbook, styled with lace-up over-the-knee boots.
