This dress from the Autumn-Winter 1993-94 ready-to-wear collection works that way. Gold metal jewels are knotted into an open crochet net across the chest, and they sit above sculpted crochet bust cups. The netting is repeated at the cuffs, and the rest of the dress is a close, fitted knit falling to the floor.
